Football Game Preview: Specially Fit Academy Rams vs. Dunnellon Tigers

The Specially Fit Academy Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Dunnellon Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Specially Fit Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Specially Fit Academy humbled Varsity Opponent with a 45-11 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four games by 34 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dunnellon didn't have quite enough to beat Eastside on Friday and fell 16-14. While the Tigers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rams 6-0.

Specially Fit Academy will need to focus on slowing down Tony Tanner, one of several Dunnellon players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 61 yards. Tanner also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

Specially Fit Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dunnellon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
