Football Recap: Pell City Extends Home Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clay-Chalkville, Pell City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Mountain Brook Spartans by a score of 10-3. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 41-14 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Pell City pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.0 points this season. As for Mountain Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pell City will venture away from home to square off against Huffman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Brook, they will head out to challenge Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Yellow Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
