Soccer Game Preview: Woodgrove vs. Dominion

The Woodgrove Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Dominion Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Woodgrove heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to Loudoun County. While losing is never fun, Woodgrove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Loudoun County are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Dominion entered their game against Heritage on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Titans fell just short of the Pride by a score of 2-1. Dominion fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Heritage since on Tuesday.

Dominion's goal came courtesy of Mia McFarland, who's now up to ten this season.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 14-4-2. As for Woodgrove, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1.
