Recap: Napa Christian Knights vs. Trinity Prep Crusaders
In what's become a running theme this season, the Napa Christian Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They breezed by Trinity Prep on the road to the tune of 88-38. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 61-24.
Breydan Worth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 34 points, 16 rebounds, and 13 assists. Worth is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Obinna (Obi) Ekezie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
The win (which was Napa Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.6 points per game. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Coincidentally, Napa Christian and Trinity Prep will both be playing Rio Lindo Adventist the next time they take the court. Trinity Prep will head out to face Rio Lindo Adventist at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Napa Christian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
