Baseball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short

Timberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Point Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 last Monday.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Timberland beat North Point by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.
