Soccer Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Ponte Vedra Sharks. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Sharks are ranked 41st).

St. Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Ponte Vedra, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

St. Augustine will face off against Creekside at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Creekside will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. Augustine surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ponte Vedra, they will venture away from home to challenge Orange Park at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
