Baseball Recap: McDonald County Comes Up Short

McDonald County managed to slip by Aurora the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 9-0 to the Houn Dawgs on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McDonald County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Konner Land, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

McDonald County's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Aurora, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Looking ahead, McDonald County will square off against Mt. Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aurora, they will take on Cassville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
