Tyler HEAT had already won 25 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 26 on Friday. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks. That's more bragging rights for Tyler HEAT, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tyler HEAT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Maldonado, who posted five points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jet Bell, who scored nine points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Tyler HEAT was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as CHAAMP HomeSchool only posted five.

Despite the defeat, CHAAMP HomeSchool had strong showings from Caleb Carlisle, who earned 11 points, and Dylan Hampton, who had eight points and six boards. Carlisle is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played.

Tyler HEAT's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Tyler HEAT has already played their next game (against Tyler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they will challenge Legacy Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
