The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lake Nona, who took down 263rd ranked Atlantic, 20-12. TUCKER ISRAEL threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns and ran for five yards in the win.
Lake Nona moved up to 257 from 312 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 7. Anthony Paradiso's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Sharks 20-12.
Lake Nona's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground ANDRE HALE chipped in 106 yards. MARC ARISTIDE helped Lake Nona's passing attack out by catching five balls for 67 yards.
RYAN SOUSA was the best wideout in the league this week as Lake Nona beat Atlantic. SOUSA tallied nine receptions for 143 yards.
ISRAEL has thrown for 3131 yards and 31 touchdowns this season, while SOUSA has 79 catches for 1341 yards. HALE leads the league in rushing with 493 yards.
Bishop Moore extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 7 this week by beating Tavares, 34-8. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
