Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Frankfort, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Mason County on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

Frankfort's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Henry Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
