Basketball Recap: Kyri Adams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead White Mountain over Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial

White Mountain has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial Huskies. The match marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

White Mountain's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyri Adams, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 13 points and three steals. Adams is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Adams Charla was another key player, putting up ten points along with five rebounds and four blocks.

White Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial, the victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
