Soccer Game Preview: Sullivan vs. Wright City

The Sullivan Eagles will take on the Wright City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Sullivan sitting on three straight wins and Wright City on eight.

Sullivan's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Owensville as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Considering Sullivan have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Wright City beat Mexico 3-1 on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Wright City's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Mexico are ranked 200th).

Sullivan's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Wright City, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.
