Volleyball Recap: Pompano Beach Takes a Loss

Pompano Beach saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Columbus Explorers. The Golden Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Francesco Yeats paced Pompano Beach's offense, picking up six kills. Yeats got some help from Sebastian Palacios and his nine assists. Finally, Palacios was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Pompano Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Columbus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Pompano Beach didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop McCarthy on the 14th. As for Columbus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Miami on the 14th.
