            Baseball Recap: Tomball Memorial Wildcats vs. Magnolia Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Tomball Memorial lost against Magnolia last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats came up short against  the Magnolia Bulldogs, falling  9-2. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by  exactly seven  runs.
 Tomball Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jack See, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.  Collins Turner also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
This is the second loss in a row for Tomball Memorial and  nudges their season record down to 12-8-1. As for Magnolia,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-4-1.
 Tomball Memorial and Magnolia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Tomball Memorial will  challenge  Klein Cain  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday up  225 places (224 vs. 449). The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Tomball Memorial 3.6, Magnolia 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Similarly,  Magnolia (ranked 139th) will meet College Station (ranked 572nd)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
