Volleyball Recap: Pendleton Falls Short Against Ranked Burns

Pendleton faced Burns in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Buckaroos fell just short of the Hilanders by a score of 2-1. The Buckaroos haven't had much luck with the Hilanders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Burns, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Pendleton is taking a road trip to square off against Ontario at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burns, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Philomath on the 20th.
