Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Germantown Academy

While Germantown Academy put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes. Germantown Academy walked away with a 5-0 win over St. Stephen's & St. Agnes. The victory was just business as usual for the Patriots, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Not much got past Charlie Morris, who gave up just six hits and racked up nine Ks to keep St. Stephen's & St. Agnes off the board.

On the hitting side, Germantown Academy's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jude Gibbons, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Alex Myers was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Germantown Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Germantown Academy will head out on the road to square off against Potomac School at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Potomac School has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they will face off against Calhoun Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
