Softball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville fell victim to Celina and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 18-0. The loss continues a trend for the Leopards in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Gainesville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Celina, they moved to 4-16 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Gainesville is set to square off against their familiar foe Van Alstyne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Celina will face off against rival Bonham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
