After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilmington, Sharpsville was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Reynolds Raiders 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 back in April.

Travis Wilding spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Dom Malone was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
