Stratton came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lone Star Longhorns by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stratton never let Lone Star on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Sophie Isenbart paced Stratton's offense, picking up ten kills. Isenbart got some help from Camory Wedel and her eight assists. Finally, Isenbart was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Stratton's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Lone Star, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Stratton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hi-Plains on the 11th. As for Lone Star, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Flagler on the 11th.
