Volleyball Recap: Nooksack Valley Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Nooksack Valley hadn't done well against Burlington-Edison recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Pioneers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Nooksack Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-22.

Nooksack Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season. As for Burlington-Edison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
