Indian Trail barely beat Racine Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks blew past the Panthers 20-0 on Thursday. The Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jack Zeller was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had over his last eight games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Shada, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Aulozzi, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Indian Trail always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .684. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Indian Trail and bumps their season record up to 15-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Racine Park, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-23.
