Football Recap: Paulding County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hiram

Paulding County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 30-8 to the Hiram Hornets on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Leading Hiram to victory were Dylan Maina and Jemarcus Twine. Maina rushed for 58 yards and one score, while Twine picked up 86 receiving yards and one TD. Those 58 rushing yards gave Maina a new career-high.

Paulding County has already played their next match, a 38-6 loss against North Atlanta on the 22nd. As for Hiram, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-0 defeat against Eastside on the 21st.
