Softball Recap: Trenton Central Comes Up Short

Trenton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-4 to the West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Chris Inestroza made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. She also scored a run, marking her first of the season. Delianna Marte was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Trenton Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro North, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Trenton Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Hopewell Valley Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro North, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hightstown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
