Basketball Recap: Sharon Academy Takes a Loss

Sharon Academy lost against Leland & Gray back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sharon Academy Phoenix lost to the Leland & Gray Rebels at home by a 43-25 margin.

Sharon Academy's defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Leland & Gray, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Sharon Academy will venture away from home to take on Arlington Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arlington Memorial's defense has only allowed 25.7 points per game this season, so Sharon Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Leland & Gray, they will face off against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leland & Gray is facing Woodstock at the right time seeing as Woodstock is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
