Softball Recap: Deep Run Takes a Loss

Deep Run lost against King William back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deep Run saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Black, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Deep Run's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for King William, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Deep Run will take on Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King William, they will square off against Middlesex at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
