Basketball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor's tournament run continued when they took on Gulf Breeze on Saturday. The Taylor Yellowjackets took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gulf Breeze Dolphins. That's two games in a row now that the Yellowjackets have lost by exactly four points.

This is the second loss in a row for Taylor and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Gulf Breeze, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Taylor will be taking part in a tournament against Northview Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Northview Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games. As for Gulf Breeze, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
