Football Game Preview: Fontainebleau Bulldogs vs. Covington Lions + How To Watch

Fontainebleau is 2-7 against Covington since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Fontainebleau has given up an average of 26 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fontainebleau came up short against Franklinton on Thursday, falling 41-20.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Landon Suhre, who rushed for 42 yards and one TD, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Conner Tyson helped out on the ground, rushing for 102 yards.

Even if they lost, Fontainebleau's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Gabe Soliman was especially locked on to Franklinton's QB and sacked him twice. Soliman also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Covington was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 17-10 to Northshore. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Fontainebleau's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Covington, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
