Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Prairie Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-3 loss last Tuesday.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Prairie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Coming up, Mountain View will take on Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Prairie, they will challenge La Center at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 2.7, the Wildcats 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
