Basketball Recap: Eli Johnson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Concordia

After losing to Concordia the last time they met, Beloit decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beloit Trojans came out on top against the Concordia Panthers by a score of 52-42 on Friday.

Beloit's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Leners, who posted six points and four steals.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Concordia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Beloit will square off against Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Beloit has won five straight at home, while Sacred Heart won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Concordia, they will challenge Chapman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
