Xavier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Fort Madison Bloodhounds 12-2.

Xavier's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Fort Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Xavier is taking a road trip to challenge Clear Creek-Amana on Monday. The Saints will need to watch out since the Clippers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. Fort Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
