Basketball Recap: Wausaukee Takes a Loss

Wausaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Crivitz Wolverines, falling 64-23. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Wolverines are ranked 190th).

Wausaukee's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Crivitz, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Wausaukee will be playing at home against Oneida Nation at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Crivitz, they will square off against Coleman at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Crivitz is facing Coleman at the right time seeing as Coleman is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
