Clayton posted their closest win since September 22nd on Monday. They skirted past the Luck Cardinals 2-1. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Clayton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 15-7.

Isabelle Schradle paced Clayton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schradle got some help from Addyson King and her 12 assists. King was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Clayton's win bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Luck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-23.

Clayton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mellen on the 13th. As for Luck, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Boyceville on the 13th.
