Softball Recap: Mount Dora Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mount Dora can now relate to. They fell just short of the Eustis Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Mount Dora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CARLY DURDEN, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Mount Dora dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Eustis, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Mount Dora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eustis, they will take on South Sumter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
