Baseball Recap: St. Paul Central Takes a Loss

If St. Paul Central was feeling good fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Johnson on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Minutemen came up short against the Governors on Wednesday, falling 17-5. Minutemen fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Governors since on Wednesday.

St. Paul Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Entenman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

St. Paul Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Johnson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coincidentally, St. Paul Central and Johnson will both be playing Highland Park the next time they take the field. The Governors will head out to face the Scots on Monday, while the Minutemen will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
