Soccer Recap: Harding Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Harding Academy challenged Arlington on Tuesday. The Lions lost 9-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Harding Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Arlington are ranked 23rd).

Harding Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding Academy will challenge St. Agnes Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arlington, they will square off against Collierville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Collierville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Arlington surely won't give up without a fight.
