Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nogales). They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over the Paramount Pirates on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Nobles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Nogales' win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Paramount, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Nogales is taking a road trip to take on Montclair at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering Montclair has lost five straight at home and Nogales six straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for Paramount, they will host Bellflower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
