Baseball Recap: Douglas County West Takes a Loss

Douglas County West was the 5-2 winner over Twin River when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcon fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Falcon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Douglas County West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roen Murdock, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Douglas County West's record now sits at 7-10. As for Twin River, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Douglas County West is set to face off against their familiar foe Wahoo/Bishop Neumann at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Twin River will challenge rival Adams Central at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
