Basketball Game Preview: Minooka Indians vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers

The Minooka Indians will square off against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Minooka has seven straight victories, Bradley-Bourbonnais has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Minooka is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Oswego: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Minooka blew Oswego out of the water with a 79-44 final score. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Panthers are ranked 254th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais lost to Oak Lawn at home by a 61-44 margin on Thursday.

Minooka pushed their record up to 20-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their loss dropped their record down to 4-22.

Minooka strolled past Bradley-Bourbonnais when the teams last played back in February of 2020 by a score of 54-37. Does Minooka have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bradley-Bourbonnais turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
