One team took the elevator way up and another took it way down in the power rankings this week. We'll tackle that and more in this week's report.

Stoneham not only got the result it was looking for last game, but the team outscored its opponent Burlington in every quarter. Stoneham blew past Burlington 44 - 14. The MaxPreps rankings were spot on as they projected Stoneham as the clear winner. Thanks to its success, Stoneham cracked into the power rankings and now occupies the 19th spot.
Movin on Up
It was onward and upward for Hingham this week as the team hoisted itself up 13 places in the power rankings -- the largest rise of the week -- after their most recent game. It came out on top against Whitman-Hanson Regional with a 22 - 13 win. 22 is shaping up to be Hingham's lucky number as the team posted the same point total in its victory over Foxborough the game before.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Catholic Memorial (4th in the power rankings) and Xaverian Brothers (3rd). Both teams are rolling into the game after last-week wins. Of course, Catholic Memorial and Xaverian Brothers can't both win again this week, so we'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
