After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ysleta, Fabens was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Riverside Rangers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Rangers back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Fabens was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 22-25, 25-17, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost, don't look at Josalynn Hernandez. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs.

The victory got Fabens back to even at 13-13. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 8-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Fabens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against San Elizario on the 24th. As for Riverside, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Mountain View on the 24th.
