Basketball Recap: Bethany Christian Takes a Loss

Bethany Christian suffered their biggest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 46-25 to the Jimtown Jimmies. The loss continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Jimmies: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Bethany Christian still got an impressive performance from Ayden Falcon, who posted eight points.

Branden King was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards for Jimtown. The dominant performance also gave King a new career-high in field goal percentage (71%). Another player making a difference was Will Spurgeon, who earned nine points and four steals.

Bethany Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Jimtown, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.
