The Indian Creek Braves will head out on the road to take on the Columbus East Olympians at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Indian Creek is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Whiteland just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Indian Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kristen Soots, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Columbus East came into Monday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Jeffersonville on Monday.

Columbus East's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Indian Creek skirted past Columbus East 4-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
