Basketball Recap: Colorado Comes Up Short

Colorado extended their losing streak to 13 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-22. They took a hard 51-33 fall against the Bangs Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-24 back in January.

As for Bangs, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-13. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games.

Ryan Alqorum produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 29 points and 22 rebounds. Those 22 boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Klutts, who posted eight points and four steals.

Coming up, Colorado will be playing in front of their home fans against Ballinger at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.29 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bangs, they will face off against Coleman at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
