Recap: Osmond/Randolph Hawks vs. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats
The Osmond/Randolph Hawks lost against the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Osmond/Randolph was outmatched by Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] on the road and fell 60-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Osmond/Randolph has scored all season.
Preston Hoke continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], scoring 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Alec Schindler, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Osmond/Randolph dropped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Osmond/Randolph will head out on the road to take on Winside at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Winside is ranked 236th, while Osmond/Randolph is ranked 225th). As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elkhorn Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Elkhorn Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
