Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upper Scioto Valley Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Calvary Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 25-13, 25-15.

Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Calvary Christian has already played their next matchup (against Hardin Northern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Columbus Grove on the 26th.
