Baseball Recap: Lockhart Lions vs. Crockett Cougars
Lockhart barely beat Crockett the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions never let the Cougars get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11, 2025 (when they won 14-6).
Jackson Isely made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Isely was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
