Basketball Recap: Scituate Comes Up Short

Scituate lost against Whitman-Hanson Regional back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scituate Sailors received a blow as they fell 50-35 to the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers. The match marked the Sailors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Scituate has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scituate will host Silver Lake Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Scituate is facing Silver Lake Regional at the right time seeing as Silver Lake Regional is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they will welcome Pembroke at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
