Sam Keeny added two as well as
Kingman (Kan.) defeated Pratt (Kan.) 37-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Andersen in the first quarter, the Eagles were up 31-0 at the half.
Kingman scored 23 points in the second quarter on the way to a win. KHS scored on a Keeny touchdown run, a touchdown run by Andersen and a touchdown pass by
Braxton Bangert to
Brandon Bradshaw in the quarter.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Greenbacks took, 35-0.
The defeat comes as a step back for Pratt, which notched a 13-10 victory over Haven in its previous outing. The victory was a step in the right direction for the Eagles, who were coming off a 27-20 defeat at the hands of Smoky Valley in its previous game. The loss broke Pratt's two-game winning streak.
Pratt (2-1) will play a Central Kansas game against Lyons next week, while Kingman (1-1) will take on Nickerson also in a Central Kansas game.
