Volleyball Game Preview: Nixa Eagles vs. Ozark Tigers

Nixa and Ozark are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2020, but not for long. The Eagles will challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nixa is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Nixa is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since September 13th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Francis Borgia, sneaking past 2-1.

Nixa relied on the efforts of Addie O'Connell, who had 14 digs, and Peyton Creed, who had 16 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Creed has posted over her last seven contests.

Meanwhile, Ozark is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Fayetteville. The Tigers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Nixa's record now sits at 23-9. As for Ozark, their record is now 29-1.

Nixa came up short against Ozark in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
