Baseball Recap: Jordan's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Jordan got themselves on the board against Katy on Friday, but Katy never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Tigers last Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Not much got past Thomas Eugate, who gave up just a hit to keep Katy off the board. Eugate has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Vera, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

With the victory, Jordan broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-10-1. As for Katy, their record is now 18-6.

Looking ahead, Jordan will take on Katy Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Katy, they will square off against Paetow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
